history

biography:
not much is known about zan, not even his origins. his father had passed before his birth, from an unknown circumstance, and his mother passed in childbirth. his mother was known to have had substance abuse issues, which was the major contributing assumption of play in her death.zan has no records or documents of his existence, considering his mother did not admit herself into a hospital upon his arrival into the world. all that's known of his beginnings is that he was born into the back of an alleyway.growing up from child to teenager in an orphanage, zan had often been framed for the other orphan children's mishaps; therefore always received the abuse from their caretakers. he easily discovered that he felt little to no pain, however the emotional damage took a massive toll on his developing psyche.being one of the only children that had never been adopted, zan wasn't prepared to enter adulthood. but, as a quick-learner he easily picked up on how to hustle for a fast buck.zan is guarded, prickly, and anti-social. he secretly yearns for bonds and relationships but has no skill to obtain and retain them. he’s learned to find solace in solidarity.currently he’s a mercenary for hire. he’s known for medieval torture and obscure fighting tactics. zan also can craft magic-infused jewels and gems, as well as concoct various potions and cook hearty meals with healing properties.zan has an extremely high pain tolerance and has the ability to self-heal from non-fatal blows.
